OK, This may sound really dumb but please let me ask another question. When
you say "withdrawn from marketing" do you mean that when I buy a new
P-series after 12/31/02 that it will come with only AIX 5.1 or 5.2? in other
words, after 12/31/02, AIX 4.3.3 won't be an option on new machines?

AIX 4.3.3 is merely withdrawn from _marketing_ this year. Support continues
until the end of next year, (as that link says!).
If IBM do like they've done before, 4.3.3 will be supported for a bit longer
than that on SP2. (This makes up for that fact that it takes a little bit
of time after its release until a new version of AIX is supported with
PSSP.)
