Really!? Hmmm. I was told several months ago that they would have to keep
supporing 4.3.3 longer then they typically would because of how many
companys couldn't(?) migrate to 5L. I want to say the reason they couldn't
had to do with the microchannel systems. Obviously, I'm not sure, but I do
distinctively remember asking an IBM rep this same question and they assured
me they were going to maintain supporting 4.3.3 for awhile. Hmmm. Well, I
know things can change on a dime, so in a sence this doesn't surprise me,
but in another it does. Oh well.

<http://silcon.silcon.com/~baspence/AIXtip/aix_mca_sod.htm> is not
exactly official, but I believe it is reliable.
