Make sure each card you use to mount from and too, are in both systems /etc/hosts table.

Use the name of the card when you 'mount name_of_card:/local /remote'.

And of course, the /etc/exports file updated to the kernal with an exportfs -a.

Subject: NFS Help!

I need some help with NFS mounts. I have one AIX server exporting to two others. The NFS mount is mounted on one AIX server but not the other. The message displayed when using SMIT or command line is . . . mount: 1831-011 access denied for nodename:/backup mount: 1831-008 giving up on: nodename:/backup The file access permissions do not allow the specified action. I am executing all this as root. Thanks
