Stewart-

Look for information on "etherchannel".
Does your server have the smit panel:

        smitty etherchannel

Note- there may be some config work to do on your ethernet switch as well- sometimes to etherchannel the network cables must reside in consecutive ports on the network switch.

I've connected 2Gbit ethernet cables as 1 and it worked, but never tried 4.
