Depends on the activity of the Shark. Does your flashcopy license cover
the total amount of the DASD ? If not, then you will not be able to format
all the new disks.
I formatted 400GB in a few hours.

We had a CE install some new Shark disks, but it
doesn't appear that they were formatted (we can see
them out there, but their format is undefined).
We need to assign them to Open Systems Storage; can
anyone give an estimate as to how long this will take?
We're looking at about 1.2TB.
