0653-345 error

When I do an "ls -la" in a directory I get a 0653-345 error.

When I look at the "." and ".." entries, they both point to inode #2 ("/"
directory).

Directory structure:

/
/userapps

The error occurs while a non-root user is in /userapps.

Thoughts ?
