the route table will decide. So if the route is on the prefered interface,
it will go that way.

Subject: ftp networking question

Is there away to tell ftp to go out over a certain network?. How does
FTP decide what network interface to go over by default. I have two AIX
4.3.3.0 systems each have a 10/100 card on a 168.162. network and each
system also have a gig card on a 172.20. network. How do I tell the ftp to
go over the gig(172.20) network instead of the 10/100(168.162) is there an
option of some sort?. Any assistance would be appreciated thanks!.
