Alix,

oslevel is simply a script. Within the script there are multiple
instances
of the string "TYPERML".

There could be many reasons your getting the wrong output. I'd try
copying
/usr/bin/oslevel from another 4.3.3 system (after first backing up the
original oslevel of course) and see if that fixes the problem.
