Sar will keep logs files that are overwritten each month, i,e., sa01-sa31.
You can rename these log files and keep them for historical reporting, at
least as input to something else for graphing or whatever.

I put together my own graphs from sar output, convert them to pdf files and
email them, based on the AIX Server Farm Redbook examples.

I attached an example pdf (I hope no one minds).

I could supply details if any interest.

Try 'nmon'. It's a free download from the IBM website, but is not supported
by them. You could also download a excel spreadsheet that will graph the
results of the nmon monitoring...

Any one know how to monitor AIX resources and make a report?
I using "sar" "iostat" "vmstat" to see monitor AIX
But it only have "real time" monitor.

I want a report, CPU usage for a month, Memory usage for a monty...

I knew IBM has a tool call AIX performance toolbox,But it's not free..

anyone knows any free tool can to this?
