I run the IBM Linux Toolbox version of OpenSSH and it installs correctly.
The one you trying to install has known vulnerabilities, and you need to be
at 3.4 or later or you could get hacked.
Do you have OpenSSL and EGD and ZLIB already installed?
The Linux Toolbox version will let you install without zlib (and you want
atleast 1.1.4 as 1.1.3 is vulnerable too) but compression won't work.
