I think

/usr/lpp/adsm/bin/installfsm -u /usr/lpp/adsm/bin/kext

might work. Have a look at the stopfsm script in this directory.

I have to say our experience is that a reboot, while not strictly necessary,
is advisable when unloading and loading the hsm kernel extension. If you
are just wanting to unload it, without loading it again, you might be OK.
