You do not have enough paging space increase it.

Type in:

# lsps -a <ENTER> (to confirm paging space values).

# bootinfo -r <ENTER> (to confirm real memory amount).

Hi all ,
On one of the AIX system(hickory-AIX4.3.3). I am getting following error :

bash-2.03# ping hickory
hickory is alive

bash-2.03# telnet hickory
Trying 206.229.36.100...
Connected to hickory.t-t.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.

I am able to ping but not telnet to the system (sounds like inted problem
-
but Not sure as system hangs ).yesterday telnet worked after the
reboot(using power on/off switch) of system as I am not able to login
using
console too. Today again same problem -now I don't want to use power on/off
reboot every time to resolve this problem .

Our DBA `s are also working on this system ,they are getting following
error messages while importing database :

I searched the archives but could not find anything that would help.
Is there any other way to resolve these problems ?

Thanks in advance .
