Hi *,
I have some performance problems on my DB2 server (Version 7.1.0.60). This
database runs on p660 (6H1) with 2 x 600MHz CPUs, 4GB RAM and AIX
4.3.3_ML09.
When we start the application I observe 100% CPU load (approximately 50-60%
user mode 40-50 %sys mode). I start an tprof and find over 4500 db2sysc
threads (I believe that rather processes). So this is a very high value (I
think so). Than I start an 'sar -cP ALL' and find that the system do
approximately 100 forks/s and 0 exec/s . Now I think this is to much
forks/s for a 2 CPU node.

Does somebody have an idea? It is very urgend because our user have a very
bad response time ......

Best regards,
