Yeah, go to the directory: "/etc/login/security/" and edit the "login.cfg"
file, it's in there, type in herald="welcome to my aix system". Then
re-login to test. Remember they're might be some tuning involved as far as
appearance.

Hello all,
I'm looking for a way to modify the text you see when
you first get the login prompt. I'm not talking about
the /etc/motd file that displays after you log in, I'm
talking about this:
AIX Version 5
(C) Copyrights by IBM and by others 1982, 2000.
login:
Is there any way that I can change this?
Thanks!
