Guessing you are using HACMP for CRM ( Concurrent Resource Management ) / ES
? Does your /usr/sbin/cluster/utilities directory have a soft link to
/usr/es/sbin/cluster/utilities ? Actually almost everything should be soft
linked from there to /usr/es/sbin/cluster.

If the link is there, is the file in /usr/es/sbin/cluster/utilities actually
exist ? Make sure no one deleted the directory leaving the soft links to
nothing.

My guess...

Subject: OPS 8.1.7 on aix 4.3.3 do not find cldomain

I Want to install Oracle Parallel Server 8.1.7 on aix4.3.3
with HACMP 4.4.1.0. When I run the rootpre.sh it says:

/usr/sbin/cluster/utilities/cldomain: file not found
Aborting pre-installation procedure. Installations of Oracle
may fail.

Then during the installation I do not get the parallel server
product.

The Oracle Reply ( Metalink ):

The last step in the rootpre.sh is to check if HACMP is
installed. If
it is then it assumes that OPS is going to be used and checks
that the
operating system is setup to run OPS. So your operating
system doesn't set up properly to run OPS. Please check with
your system administrator.

Can you help me ?

Thanks.
