Dear all friends,
Hei Friends, I have a problems when I want to make Volume Group with
External SSA Disk ( Tower Model ), I have this message when "smitty vg" :
0516-024 mkvg: Unable to open physical volume.
Either PV was not configured or could not be opened. Run
diagnostics.
0516-862 mkvg: Unable to create volume group.
0516-1254 mkvg: Changing the PVID in the ODM.
Method error (/usr/lib/methods/chgdisk):
0514-047 Cannot access a device.
0516-024 mkvg: Unable to open physical volume.
Either PV was not configured or could not be opened. Run
diagnostics.
0516-862 mkvg: Unable to create volume group.
0516-304 mkvg: Unable to find device id in the Device
Configuration Database.
0516-324 mkvg: Unable to find PV identifier for physical volume.
The Device Configuration Database is inconsistent for physical
volumes.
For information, the SSA itself already known as hdisk2 until hdisk9, the
others : hdisk0 & hdisk1 is the internal disk.
Right now we running on AIX5.1.0.0 ML 01
Please any idea to solve it...!!! Please ..!!
